The Uhuru Peak, or Pico Independencia in the local language, with its 5,896 meters is the Roof of Africa, the highest point of the continent, from which you can see a huge plateau full of natural beauty and history. Serengeti, crater of the N'Gorongoro, the Rift Falla with its archaeological remains, natural and cultural wonders watched from the top by a volcano extinguished with eternal snow, glaciers in full equator. The single view of the Kili from the hotel's patio, impresses greatly and invites you to climb its gentle slopes in an ascent without any technical difficulty.

  • Day 1
    Argentina - Johannesburg. Airport reception and transfer to hotel. Equipment review and last minute purchases.
  • Day 2
    Johannesburg - Tanzania. Kilimanjaro International Airport. Reception at the airport and pick up from the group for your transfer to our hotel in Moshi where we stayed.
  • Day 3
    Park gate (1800m) - Machame Camp (2800m) After checking in at the Park offices, we start a spectacular trekking where the look will be lost in every corner of the magnificent African landscape that will change as we go up the mountain. We ascend to the Machame camp located at an altitude of 3,100 meters where we will spend our first night of trekking.
  • Day 4
    Machame Camp (1800m) - Shira 1 Camp (3800m) The route now turns west through a river gorge from where we can contemplate the incredible glaciers and end the day at the Shira camp.
  • Day 5
    Shira 1 Camp (3800m) - Barranco Camp (3800m) via lava Tower (4600m) From the Shira plateau, we continue ascending towards Lava Tower (4,630 meters), also called the "Tiburón tooth". Shortly after we will arrive at the crossing that takes us towards the Arrow Glacier, at an altitude of 4,876 meters. We begin to descend through an incredible landscape between big senecios that leads us to the Barranco camp at 3,860 meters
  • Day 6
    Barranco Camp (3800m) - Karanga Camp (4200m) After breakfast, we leave the Barranco camp and continue our trek through the Barranco wall, passing the Karanga valley (4,200 meters)
  • Day 7
    Karanga Camp (4200m) - Summit (5895m) and on to Mweka Camp (3000m) After enjoying the arrival to the top of Africa, we will begin the descent to the Mweka camp where we will stay tonight, stopping first at Barafu for lunch .
  • Day 8
    Mweka Camp (3000m) - Park Gate (1800m) After the last breakfast of the trekking, we continue with the descent arriving at the Mweka gate, where our transport will take us to the hotel in Moshi. Tonight we can celebrate our great triumph after having touched the roof of Africa.
  • Day 9
    Tanzania - Johannesburg. Arrival at the hotel and rest.
  • Day 10
    Johannesburg - Safari. Beautiful Safari through the African jungle by day
  • Day 11
    Johannesburg - Argentina.
