This trip aims to offer the most demanding mountaineer a broad tour of the highest and most important summits in all of Bolivia. This expedition is designed for mountaineers who want to test in different conditions of difficulty, allowing to return home with a good "booty" of hilltops from 5,000 to 6,500 meters, while it is an excellent opportunity to start in height ascensionism.

  • Day 1
    La Paz - Sajama National Park - Sajama Pueblo: Whether from your hotel, bus terminal or airport (or if you come from Chile, via the Chile / Bolivia border via Arica), our vehicle will be there to pick you up and take you to Through a 4 hour trip to your hostel in the town of Sajama [4.250m].
  • Day 2
    Sajama Pueblo - Acclimatization: The first day of acclimatization consists of a trekking of 3-4 hours to the Geisers of Sajama, from there we will return to our hostel to rest.
  • Day 3
    Sajama Pueblo - Acclimatization: Very close to the town we can enjoy the thermal baths before our first attack, we just have to walk a few kilometers to relax and enjoy a beautiful landscape.
  • Day 4
    Acotango Summit: After breakfast, we depart 4:00 am in a van for 2-3 hours to the base of Acotango Volcano [6,052m] to make an easy ascent of approximately 5 hours to the summit. The descent does not exceed 3 hours, which allows us to return to the hostel at approximately 16:00 pm.
  • Day 5
    Cumbre Parinacota: We will try to rest as much as possible to return to a journey not very different from the previous day. It will not take us more than 1 hour of difference to return to our hostel after making the summit of Parinacota Volcano [6.342m]
  • Day 6
    Sajama Pueblo - Rest day: We can sleep late, take a tour of the thermal baths, and rest all day, since tomorrow we will go to the base camp of the Sajama Volcano.
  • Day 7
    Sajama Pueblo - Sajama Base Camp: We leave early in the morning for a 2 hour approach to the Base Camp [4.850m]. When we arrive at the camp we prepare everything to continue climbing to the Campo Alto and have the whole afternoon to rest.
  • Day 8
    Base Camp - High Camp: We ascend to the High Camp [5,700m] through rocky terrains and slopes that require great effort. After 6 hours we reach the camp where we set up the tents to rest the night before the summit day.
  • Day 9
    Campo Alto - Cumbre - Sajama Pueblo: We begin the day of ascent at 2:00 am towards the summit of the Sajama Volcano [6,548m], after approximately 6 hours of ascent we will reach the summit. After 5 more hours we will be back at Base Camp to return slowly to our hostel at around 4:00 p.m.
  • Day 10
    Sajama Pueblo - La Paz: The end of our expedition has arrived, and it is time to leave. Either to the city of La Paz, if you want to stay a few more days in the city, or direct to the airport or bus terminal if you already have your return ticket.
